Within the visit of the delegation of Najaf Al-Ashraf to Erbil, Dr. Muhammad Elwia, head of the Ishtar Center for Democracy Support, met with Professor Fakhri Karim, head of the Al-Mada Foundation, and chief advisor to the late President Jalal Talabani, and in the presence of Dr. Samir Al-Sumaida’i, a member of the Governing Council and the former ambassador of Iraq. The entire democratic experience was criticized and analyzed, and a discussion took place on the role of youth in bringing about the desired political change.
