On the 8th of September 2023, the head of Ishtar Center for Democracy Support, Dr. Mohamed Elwia, met with the Iraqi Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Shiaa Al-Sudani, and talked about the challenges facing the government, issues of empowering youth and women, combating corruption, economic challenges, and energy and water challenges.
