- Platform Manager: Dr. Alaa Mustafa is a professor at the Faculty of Information at the University of Baghdad and a member of the board of directors of the Ashtar Center.
The platform discussed the political forces’ perceptions of the upcoming provincial elections, the nature of the political climate accompanying these elections, and its impact on the form and drafting of the electoral law.
The conference aims to bring together community elites and policy makers from political forces and government figures in order to mature the legal, political and administrative procedural paths for the upcoming provincial council elections in order to increase participation in the elections and ensure real social representation in them.
