About Ibrahim Fadhil
Ibrahim Fadhil is a writer and researcher from Anbar, holding a master's degree in bioengineering. His work examines questions of the state, citizenship, and the transformations of the political system in contemporary Iraq.
His research focuses on the structure of Iraq's political system and the dilemmas of its component-based (ethno-sectarian) representation, and their implications for political legitimacy, representation, and state-building after 2003. He joined the center as a researcher in 2026.
