In 2016, our center initiated a dialogue session that brought together a number of liberal youths with a number of moderate clerics, in which we discussed the need to move towards a secular state that separates political action from religious trends. One of the most important outcomes of the session was finding common spaces between the religious and liberal sides, and starting a secular religious dialogue in Najaf Governorate, where it was the first initiative and step of this kind.
