On April 25th. 2022, Ishtar Center for Democracy Support held at his headquarters in the capital Baghdad, a dialogue session entitled:
(Criteria of the next government and priorities of the governmental program)
The speakers in the session:
– Dr. Saleh Al-Mutlaq, former Vice Prime Minister
– Dr. Shirwan Al-Waeli, the former Minister of National Security and Advisor to the President of the Iraq
– Mrs. Ala Talabani, a leader in the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan
– Independent Representative of the Iraqi Council, Dr. Mohamed Anouz
The session was moderated by Dr. Alaa Mustafa, a member of Ishtar Center and a professor of media at the University of Baghdad, in the presence of a number of politicians and a group of researchers, academics and political figures.
The speakers and attendees deliberated on the foundations and criteria needed to form the next government, the most important challenges that it will face politically, socially and economically, and the priorities of the next government program. Practical recommendations were made away from the current political conflict. These recommendations will be published later on the center’s page.
