On December 1, Ishtar Center for Democracy Support hosts the Turkish Consul in Najaf Governorate, Mr. Jaafar Olcay.
Ishtar Center for Democracy Support hosted, at its main headquarters in the holy city of Najaf, the Turkish Consul in the governorate, Mr. Jaafar Olgay Qaraqash. They talked about the role of the consulate in Najaf in the areas of economic, scientific and cultural cooperation between the two countries, and about the role of Ishtar Center for Democracy Support and its programs that enhance development paths and support of democracy in Iraq.
Ishtar Center presented to the Turkish Consulate several proposals that the Consulate could work on in the next stage, the most important of which is developing the capabilities of young people to establish and manage their small projects in the private sector using Turkish experiences, as well as scientific and cultural exchange initiatives between Iraqi and Turkish universities.
