On 11th September, 2003, the head of Ishtar Center for Democracy Support, Dr. Muhammad Elwia, met with Mr. Faiq Zaidan, president of the Supreme Judicial Council. They discussed about the importance of developing the democratic experience in Iraq and the role of the judiciary in strengthening democracy and consolidating the foundations of law enforcement. Elwia spoke about Ishtar Center for Democracy Support and its activities and initiatives that contribute to spreading democratic awareness in society and developing public policies for the state.
