The head of the Ashtar Center met Dr. Muhammad Alawia with Mr. Hassanein Abtan, a member of the Center, with a representative of the German Berghof Organization for Conflict Resolution, in the presence of Mr. Saleh Al-Hakim, President of the Kalima Foundation for Discussion in Najaf.
Within the framework of the meeting, ways of cooperation between the Berghof Organization and the Ishtar Center were discussed in order to work on common goals. The center’s activities and its role in the maturation of the democratic experience in Iraq were reviewed by working to build a democratic society consistent with the general principles of democracy.
