The proceedings of the Baghdad Forum for Young Leaders, convened by the Ishtar Center for Democracy Support in Baghdad with twenty Iraqi, regional, and international institutions taking part — bringing young leaders together with government decision-makers, ambassadors, researchers, and academics. The book presents the outcomes of the forum's seven dialogue platforms: youth's role in strengthening peace and developing political systems, youth empowerment from a global perspective, civil society and political participation, entrepreneurship and digital transformation, young politicians and their space for influence in party and state, political-system strategies for keeping pace with youth aspirations, and the future of young people amid Iraq's economic challenges — alongside a roundtable on climate policy and Iraq's environmental reality. It opens with remarks by center president Dr. Mohammed Elwia, the Prime Minister's advisor for youth affairs Dr. Qasim Al-Dhalimi, and Amersi Foundation chairman Mohammed Amersi.
