Ishtar Center for Democracy Support Participates in the Levant & Iraq Forum in Amman, Jordan The Middle East Research Institute (MERI) organized the founding meeting of the Levant & Iraq Forum (LIF) at the University of Jordan in Amman, held at the Center for Strategic Studies. The event was supported by the German Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS). The Ishtar Center for Democracy Support, represented by its president Dr. Mohammed Elwia, took part in the meeting alongside leaders from 16 research and policy institutions across Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Palestine, and Lebanon. The discussions focused on a range of issues concerning the future of the region. The Levant & Iraq Forum (LIF), established through this initiative, is a collaborative network of regional think tanks and research centers. It aims to foster peace, stability, and regional integration through dialogue and cooperation.
